About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I’m Christopher Harris, and I’m thrilled you’ve found your way here. This blog is a space where I explore my passion for professional development, health and wellness, and living a fulfilling life. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I’m committed to sharing insights and inspiration that can help you grow, challenge your perspectives, and achieve your goals.

A bit about me: I’m a dedicated family man, happily married to my wife Emily and a proud father to Colin and Audrey. They are the center of my world, and my experiences with them shape who I am every day.

I’m also passionate about health and fitness, embracing everything from yoga to cycling. For me, fitness is not just about physical well-being but also about mental clarity and emotional resilience. It helps me be a better husband, father, and friend, and it energizes me to tackle my responsibilities with vigor. It’s also a reminder to savor life’s simple joys.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a Marketing minor from Ball State University and a Master’s in Recreation and Sport Management from Indiana State University. My career has spanned various roles in health, fitness, sports, and higher education. Some of my notable experiences include an internship at Jackson’s MMA, a globally renowned MMA gym; a Graduate Assistantship at Ivy Tech, where I managed recreational sports and wellness programs; Program Operations Director at Nine13sports, a youth health and fitness nonprofit based in Indianapolis; and as the Youth Services Manager at Brownsburg Parks & Recreation, where I oversaw camp and youth programming.

I am currently working as a Youth Programming Instructor at Nine13sports while completing my teaching license through Purdue University’s Transition to Teaching program, with the goal of becoming a certified physical education instructor.
